Encouraging news for msg: The company has reached fifth place in this year's Lünendonk list of “Leading IT Consulting and System Integration Companies in Germany”, thus improving its ranking by one place compared to previous years. The ranking by the consulting and market research company Lünendonk & Hossenfelder lists the 25 largest international and German providers of IT consulting services according to their annual revenue. It thus provides an overview of the major players in the German market for IT consulting and system integration.

Despite a shortage of skilled workers, economic trends and global crises, companies are continuing to invest more in IT services. Above all, the digital transformation and topics such as cloud transformation, IT modernization and software development are increasing demand: According to Lünendonk, average growth in domestic revenue for IT service providers operating in Germany was 13.2 percent in 2022 (previous year: 13.1 %).

Growth is also expected to continue in 2023. In addition to the already prevailing trends, IT service providers can expect increasing demand around the topics of efficiency improvements, ESG, and data & analytics. Sustainability reporting, which will be mandatory from 2024, is another major challenge for which every second IT service provider has already developed and introduced a sustainability strategy.
