Challenge

Up to now, malfunctions in heat production plants have mostly been reported by customers. This causes a delay in restoring the heat supply for all users.

Solution

By retrofitting the heat production plants with sensors and digital heat meters, malfunctions are detected at an early stage, ideally before experienced by the customer.

A long-term analysis of sensor and heat meter data allows the energy efficiency of the plants to be increased and energy consumption and CO2 emissions to be reduced.

Benefit

  • Reduction of heat supply downtime through early automated malfunction detection
  • Increased energy efficiency of heat production plants and reduction of energy costs and CO2 emissions
  • Image boost through the use of environmentally-friendly technologies
  • Monitoring of healthy housing through legionella prevention
